BuildNZ/DesignEX is the coming together of New Zealand’s two leading building industry trade shows. It has a solid reputation for bringing building professionals and construction industry innovators together to share ideas, showcase the latest products, and develop business relationships.

2015 was a big year for USG BORAL in NZ and we made a strong statement with an impressive stand that featured an insitu Topo 3-Dimensional Specialty ceiling. The ceiling was lit with LED lights that could had the ability to change colour and there  was an impressive video wall showcasing USG Boral’s capabilities, products and manufacturing capacity worldwide.

Several innovative products were featured on large information panels, including Partiwall®, Fiberock®, Securock and Sheetrock® Brand Plasterboard. Innovative iPad presentations on each panel allowed visitors to find out more information about other USG Boral products. Detailed models of Partiwall®, Drywall Grid, ScrewFix® and DONN® DX Exposed Grid proved very popular with guests as they could physically see how systems worked and how they could work with them.

GOING TO BE VERY SUCCESSFUL.

Dave Peck, USG Boral Ceilings & Specifications Director & NZ Manager said “The stand was a great way to show the New Zealand market that we’re on a grow path here and have some innovative new systems that are going to be very successful.” The level of interest in USG Boral’s products and systems was strong. The types of systems USG Boral has - such as Partiwall® - reflect thec changing nature of house building in New Zealand and give USG Boral a competitive advantage in the market.
