When using the online calculator Custom Systems section, it is important to input the correct and latest manufacturers' bracing system references and wind and earthquake values. It is important to strictly follow the chosen manufacturers’ latest installation and technical information when calculating structural bracing designs.

USG Boral is not liable for any incorrect data that has been inputted into Custom Systems Section.

Limitations of Use

• The Calculator is to be used within the scope and limitations of NZS3604:2011
• The Calculator is to be used by (or the user be supervised by) a licensed building practitioner with the appropriate license class where the building design work has been identified as a restricted building design.

This Calculator and information contained within and/or generated by it is a tool intended to be used, as a guide only, by trained professionals only. It is not a substitute for professional judgement. Due to the large variety of potential applications for the information presented, USG Boral will not be liable for any loss suffered through or in connection with the use of the Calculator, including but not limited to when the Calculator is misused, used incorrectly, altered, an out of date version of the Calculator is used, or where incorrect information is used in the Calculator. Information received from the Calculator may not contain the full details required for construction. Persons using the Calculator are responsible for establishing the adequacy of independent procedures for testing the reliability and accuracy of any output
