The Construction Industry Transformation Program (CITP) was launched by the Ministry of Works to support the growth of the construction industry in Malaysia, thus created a perfect timing for USG Boral involvement to hold Building Innovative Solution Talk at Taylor’s University.

In this meet up with academicians mainly from architectural and surveying fields, USG Boral had a 2-hour comprehensive talk and demonstration sharing of its products core values and benefits that can impact the building construction industry. Also, the discussion has shed some lights on giving the right notion that building construction is the economy pusher for the nation and fostering best practices in quality, safety, and professionalism and also highlighting on environmental sustainability, productivity, and internationalization.

As government initiated the sustainable-building movement which supports the shifting perception from commodity to a more sought-after product, future designers, and architect from Taylor’s University had also been given the first class exposure to latest building construction products and systems, such as Drywall systems - a conventional replacement method for the construction industry.

Through this effort, USG Boral hopes that it will better equip young minds to shape future’s building construction for a better tomorrow.
