At USG Boral we are proud of our longstanding relationship with building design professionals. Our architectural clients benefit from diverse product choice, world-class technology, field-tested performance and hands-on technical support.
The Building Trade Show (BTS) is the biggest show of its kind in East Malaysia. Since 2003, the show has brought planners, builders, manufacturers and suppliers together in a showcase of the latest architectural innovations, engineering feats, attractive housing and industrial designs and potential new sources of materials.
This year at the BTS 2017, held on 24 – 26 March at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK), USG Boral showcased a range of innovative products for the first time in East Malaysia.
We focused on the impact-resistant Impactstop wall solution, the moisture-resistant Fiberock® Aqua-Tough Interior Panel solution and our versatile plasterboard that can accommodate curved designs.
To demonstrate the strength of the Impactstop wall solution, we created an actual mock-up and hung a real TV on the wall. In the same space, we created a curved ceiling using our plasterboard to demonstrate its versatility.
We also showed an actual mock-up of the Fiberock® Aqua-Tough Interior Panel solution with additional layers to demonstrate how tiles can be attached to the wall.
We received great response at the BTS 2017 and the showcase would strengthen USG Boral’s presence in East Malaysia.
