ICONSIAM

“ICONSIAM”, a super project of Siam, selects “FULFiLwall” system allowing freedom of designs.

ICONSIAM, a commercial property development project on the Thonburi riverside of the Chao Phraya River, is currently Thailand’s biggest private investment project cooperating between two companies, SIAMPIWAT and Magnolia Quality Development Corporation (CP ALL Group). The project aims to become a new Chao Phraya landmark developing on an area over 20 Acres (50 Rai or 80,000 Square meters), consisting of 2 shopping mall kingdoms and an exclusive residence, bringing total investment to over 50 billion Baht. Moreover, it is planned to uphold the riverside's image as a world-class tourist attraction.

“ICONSIAM”, the enormous Siam project, is inspired by the Thai traditional worship of Loikrathong, an ancient ceremony where Thai people make and cast off floating baskets and offerings to pay respect to the river spirits. The project transforms the tradition into a modernized abstract theme merging with the ICONSIAM building which contains the design of floating basket’s pleats while the ICONLUXE complex, composing of 3 buildings, embraces the shape of glass floating baskets with a 300 meter long façade covering the side facing the Chao Phraya. With the complex glass pleat pattern, the structure requires the best quality wall system in terms of durability, timesaving and versatility to respond to this “one of a kind” design.

“FULFiLwall”, a reinforced lightweight concrete wall system, has exceedingly advanced properties in fields of strength and durability, whilst at the same time, enables the versatility of its functions to fit in each circumstance. The wall’s surface is flawlessly smooth matching with every requirement of the ICONSIAM design. The material, with the simplified installation process, can decrease construction time. Thus, it is certain that The ICONSIAM will be immortalised as another successful history-changing project of Siam.
