SHEETROCK® Ready Mixed Joint Compounds from USG BORAL offer convenient joint finishing that combines superior performance, faster application and productivity gains.

USG Boral Middle East Sheetrock® Brand All Purpose Joint Compound combines single-package convenience with good taping and topping performance.

Recommended for laminating and repairing cracks in interior plaster and masonry not subject to moisture, this compound features great open time and cold bond, and has smooth and slick properties.

PRODUCT FEATURES

• Used for all three coats or as a skimming coat.

RECOMMENDATIONS

• USG Boral SHEETROCK® All Purpose Joint Compound is suitable for use as all three coats in the USG Boral three coat jointing system.
• USG Boral SHEETROCK® All Purpose is suitable for the final coating of plasterboard joints, angles and fastener heads when used in conjunction with USG Boral setting type joint compounds for first and second coats.

Wall Curved

APPLICATIONS

• Surfaces must be clean and free from dust.
• USG Boral SHEETROCK® All Purpose may be diluted to a workable viscosity by adding water followed by mechanical mixing if desired.
• Can be applied by hand or mechanical tools.
• When using USG Boral SHEETROCK® All Purpose for all three coats, the first coat must be used to bed a high-quality paper tape.
• USG Boral SHEETROCK® All Purpose compound must be allowed to dry thoroughly (up to 24 hours depending on temperature & humidity) before re-coating or sanding.
• Only apply over setting type compounds that have been allowed to dry thoroughly.
• Sand with care using 180 or 220 grit paper.
• Thoroughly clean all tools and equipment after use.

PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENT

• Dust from this product contains silica. Prolonged inhalation may be harmful to health.
• Ensure adequate ventilation. Wear eye protection and an approved disposable respirator which conforms to AS1716: 2012 Type P1 or P2.
• If dust or paste causes irritation use impervious PVC, nitrile or rubber gloves. Wash exposed skin after handling. If product gets into the eyes, wash thoroughly with clean water.
• Do not ingest contents of package. If ingested, seek medical advice immediately.
• Keep contents out of reach of children.
• Be conscious of the environment. Dispose of empty packaging in a responsible manner.
• Follow safe lifting instructions on the product label.
