Plasterboard screws are needle point fasteners for single-layer and multi-layer drywall planking, insulation and accessory mountings on steel structures made of light gauge steel up to 0.8 mm thickness.

These screws comply with:

- ASTM C 1002 – 98 standard specification for steel drill screws for application of gypsum panel products or metal plaster bases.
- Australian standard AS 3566-1988 screws – self drilling - for the building and construction industries.

    Applications:
    In a dry wall system, plasterboard screws are used for rapid attachment of facing materials to steel framing of thickness from 0.45 up to 2.0 mm, by a power screw driver. They are used in all types of drywall partitions, liner walls & ceilings.
